Access is off Church Street, where the Lookout affords views of the rivermouth and ocean. Dongara is known for the Royal Steam Roller Flour Mill and the Moreton Bay Fig tree. Dongara is the ideal base to tour the wildflower country in spring. The Dongara Heritage Trail is a 1.6km walk featuring Dongara's historic buildings.
