Hotel Dieksee has 70 rooms with allergy-tested pillows/duvets. Standard Single Rooms (11-13 m²) feature a single bed. Standard Double Rooms (12-17 m²) offer a 180 cm wide double bed. Some rooms have views of Lake Dieksee and include complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a safe, a desk, an electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi. Some Standard Double Rooms have either a French balcony or a furnished balcony. Superior Double Rooms (22 m²) include a box spring bed, a furnished balcony, bathrobes, and slippers. Standard Family Rooms (25 m²) have a 180 cm wide double bed, a double sofa bed, a bathtub or shower, and a balcony.
Dining at Louise
Restaurant Louise serves an extensive breakfast buffet from 7 to 10:30 am, which can be enjoyed on the sun terrace. A lunch menu is available between 12 and 2 pm. A café is open from 2 to 5 pm with cakes, pies, cappuccino, and tea. Dinner is served from 6 to 8:30 pm, featuring international and regional dishes prepared with ingredients from regional suppliers.
Pool and Activities
The recreational facilities include an indoor heated pool with panoramic lake views, two saunas, a whirlpool, and a lounge area, open daily (sauna from 9 am to 10 pm, pool from 7 am to 10 pm). Massages are available by appointment. Guests can enjoy hiking, Nordic walking, stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, tennis, and golf in the Holsteinische Schweiz Nature Park.
Location and Transport
Hotel Dieksee is located in Bad Malente near the Baltic Sea coast. Timmendorfer Beach and Lübeck are 30 kilometers away, accessible by car (via the B76 highway) or train. Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen central train station is 500 meters from the hotel, offering connections to Lübeck, Kiel, and Hamburg Airport. The harbors of Travemünde, Kiel, and Puttgarden are within one hour by car, providing ferry connections to Helsinki, Oslo, Malmö, and Göteborg.
