Cozy Swiss Rooms
Hotel de Moiry, including the guesthouse Chalet Arolle, is in the old village of Grimentz. You can examine Val d'Anniviers customs represented in paintings, glass art, wooden sculptures, and animal photography by owner Aurel Salamin. Rooms include boxspring beds. Each room features an illuminated picture of a mountain animal. Rooms feature pine and larch-paneled walls, a private bathroom, a safe, TV, radio, and hair-dryer. The Chalet Arolle guesthouse offers family rooms for four to six people, in a duplex style, on two levels. Mazot le Mayen includes one bedroom with two separate beds, one small bedroom with one bed, and a bathroom with shower on each floor.
Swiss Cuisine Restaurant
Hotel de Moiry's restaurant serves Swiss cuisine. Raclette is cooked over a wood fire. Dishes include meat or fish accompanied by vegetables. You can choose house-made French fries, rice, Gratin, or pasta. Hunting dishes and menus include homemade pasta and/or Spätzli, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, chestnuts, pears or apples, prunes, and grapes. The breakfast buffet offers whole-wheat bread, cereals, cheese, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk, and hot chocolate. Another specialty can be found in our restaurant is fresh wild game, and fresh and homemade products, concocted with passion by our Kitchen Team. Specialties from the Valais include Assiette Valaisanne (speciality plate with dried meat), cheese fondue, croûte maison, mixed salad, green salad and homemade game terrine.
Sledging and Ice-skating
Two local mountain guides, the Salamin brothers, have installed a climbing garden in ' Les Crêts '. Hotel guests have access to internet via a cordless WI-FI connection in the main building of the hotel and in guesthouse the ' Chalet Arolle '. During winter time natural ice skating rink is open every day until the end of February and you can discover specially marked winter paths to discover untouched and wild nature.

Hotel De Moiry Superieur is 45 km from Sion. The hotel is located in the car-free center of Grimentz. The postal bus will drop you at the ' Carovila ' stop, just 50 meters from the Hotel de Moiry. The slopes of Grimentz are suitable for every skier and the slopes of Grimentz are with comfortable cable car.
