bad soundproofing noisy backstreet

the location was acceptable , being close to the promenade des anglais.

i found the small room to be quite noisy early in the morning because of loud bangs in the backstreet , presumably from garbage bins. the soundproofing wasn't great , so i could hear everything happening in the corridor.

Fantastic Stay Near the Beach

cute message amazing staff sweet treat

I really liked that the rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were promptly changed. The staff welcomed us with macaroons and a cute, personalized message. On our departure day, we received sweets accompanied by another adorable note. I felt so welcome.

The stairway door made a slamming noise. This noise echoed up to the rooms and I found it slightly distracting.

the staff was friendly and accommodating. the breakfast included a good variety of options. the location was very close to the promenade and beach (a short walk).

My room was small. the soundproofing was not great. I could hear noise from the corridor. the carpet in the room seemed a bit old.

I must say, the experience was not quite what I anticipated. The room size barely accommodated my suitcase, let alone me. The walls seemed rather thin. I could hear my neighbors' questionable music choices. the lack of proper soundproofing made for an interesting night. I also noticed there was no tea or coffee in the room. What a disaster!

a sweet haven near the sea

really good location friendly staff complimentary coffee

this stay felt very special to me. i found the location really good since it was close to the beach and shops. the staff was also very friendly offering help with local restaurants and attraction choices. the room was modern, very clean, a complimentary coffee machine, and daily water bottles made it better.

the stairway door was quite loud. the slamming echoed up to the rooms. i think quieting this door would greatly improve the experience for other guests.
