About the Hotel
Rooms & Suites
DAS TEGERNSEE features 92 rooms, suites, and apartments with oiled wooden floors. Rooms include a living area and a sleeping area. Some rooms offer south-facing balconies with lake views. Other rooms view the mountains or courtyard. Comfort Double Rooms in the Wallberg building have balconies overlooking Lake Tegernsee. Suites in the AlpenChalet building include rooftop terraces. All rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is permitted on balconies and terraces. Comfort Double Rooms are more spacious than Classic Double Rooms. Classic rooms include a TV, minibar, and bathroom. Comfort Double Rooms are located in Wallberg building. Suites are located in Sengerschloss building and feature seating areas and sofas. Quirin building includes double rooms with satellite TV and minibar.
Culinary Art
Restaurant Senger serves breakfast from 7 AM to 11 AM, featuring juices, smoothies, fresh fruit, muesli, yogurts, eggs, pastries, and breads. Lunch is available from 12 PM to 2:30 PM, with coffee and cake from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. Dinner is served from 6 PM to 10 PM, and the restaurant is open until 11 PM. The Biergarten provides regional dishes and Bavarian food under chestnut trees. The idyllic Biergarten high up above the lake serves refreshing drinks and delicious dishes from spring through autumn. Schlossbar is open daily from 5 PM. A changing evening menu with three, four or five courses is available high above the Tegernsee. Brunch is served every first Sunday of the month and on public holidays.
Leisure and Spa
DAS TEGERNSEE | Spa offers 2,400 m² of relaxation with five themed saunas: a Finnish sauna, forest sauna, bio-aroma sauna, steam bath, and panorama sauna. The panorama sauna offers views of Tegernsee. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, relaxation zones, and a fitness area with Precor equipment. Guests can access the spa from 3 PM on arrival day and until 2 PM on departure day. Yoga sessions are available. Children up to 12 years old are welcome in the pool area, sun terrace, and indoor saunas when accompanied by a parent or guardian from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Location & Access
DAS TEGERNSEE is located on the southern slopes of Tegernsee at an altitude of 800m, 95 km from Munich. The hotel is accessible by car via the A8 Autobahn and Holzkirchen exit. Munich Airport is approximately one hour by car. The hotel is near Olaf Gulbransson Museum (1 km), Lake Tegernsee (2 km), and Riedersteinkapelle (3 km). Evang.-Luth. Christuskirche Tegernsee, Filmregion Tegernsee Schliersee, Herzogliches Schloss Tegernsee and Spielgolf Tegernsee are all 1 km away. Bus and train services are available from Munich main railway station to Tegernsee.
Hotel Services
DAS TEGERNSEE provides ten charging points with 11 or 22 kW each in the underground car park of the Alpenchalets for electric cars. There are also ten charging points for electric bikes and a cabinet for charging electric bike batteries. Pets are allowed with pre-registration, with a charge of ⬠40,00 per dog per night. Bowls, a dog blanket, and a surprise are provided. The hotel has eight meeting rooms and an Atrium. In the lobby in Haus Tegernsee is for friendly chats. Wheelchair access is limited due to the hillside location. Some areas, like Sengerschloss and the spa, are accessible only by stairs.
