Dala Hotel & Apartments has 12 guest rooms available as single, double, or triple rooms with a sofa bed. All rooms feature a shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, and balcony. Five south-facing rooms have been renovated with alpine flower themes and include two rattan sun loungers on the balcony. East-facing rooms offer morning sun and views of the village and Torrent region. The romantic suite features a whirlpool, double bed, lounge, 55" smart LED TV, and kitchenette with a refrigerator. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms free of charge.
Breakfast and Dining
The hotel provides a breakfast buffet daily from 8-10 am, including grain breads, white breads, jams, cold cuts, cheeses from local suppliers, scrambled eggs with bacon, boiled eggs, yogurts, muesli, fruit salad, fresh fruit, cereals, and cornflakes. Guests can use the Franke coffee machine for coffee, macchiato, cappuccino, latte, schoggi, or ovo, and can select from 12 tea varieties. The restaurant Stübli offers a stone plate with grill mix, fondue, raclette, vegetarian, meat and fish dishes. Guests find PAM and Migros grocery stores a 2- and 3-minute walk away, respectively.
Leisure and Wellness
Hotel dala features a bio-sauna, steam bath, electric massage bed, and fitness equipment. Use of the sauna, steam bath, massage bed, bike, step and body plate is complimentary for guests staying two or more nights (surcharge for one night). The Leukerbad Therme is a 4-minute walk away, and the Valais Alpentherme is a 2-minute walk. Leukerbad is the largest thermal spa resort in the Alps, with 3.9 million liters of thermal water at temperatures up to 51 degrees Celsius filling the thermal baths daily.
Location and Transport
Located in the center of Leukerbad, Hotel dala Garni and Apartments is a 2-3 minute walk to the thermal baths and a 10-minute walk to the Gemmi and Torrent cable cars. The hotel is 45 km from Sion. The Gemmibahn and Torrentbahn cable cars are an 8-minute walk. Guests can get tickets at the hotel reception. The hotel provides the Leukerbad Card Plus, which includes free use of local buses and discounted use of the cable cars and thermal baths. The train goes to Leuk train station. Afterwards the bus goes from Leuk train station directly to Leukerbad, Albinen, Inden or Varen.
Hotel Services
Hotel dala provides daily cleaning with towel and bed linen changes upon request. The hotel offers a ski and bike storage room. There are games for children next to the breakfast room. A self-service laundromat with two washing machines and a tumble dryer is located near the entrance on the upper floor. Kitchen use with coffee machine, capsules, and tea selection is included. In the studios and apartments kitchen use rental price CHF 60. - per stay including kitchen linen. Electric and mountain bikes are available for rent in summer. Tap water is safe to drink.
