Leisure and Entertainment
The resort includes two championship golf courses, a tennis center with 21 courts (including indoor and outdoor courts), 14 pickleball courts, and a fitness center. The Forest Oasis Waterpark & Lazy River has two pools, three whirlpools, and a 1,005-foot-long lazy river. The Woodlands Golf Academy offers instruction and training. A spa provides body treatments. Guests can rent bicycles or explore nearby hiking trails. The resort also offers seasonal activities and fire pits.
Location and Transportation
The Woodlands Resort is 27 miles northwest of downtown Houston. Nearby attractions include the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street, and The Woodlands Mall. The resort is 18 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged (24-hour advance notice required; call 281.723.2550). A complimentary shuttle goes to The Woodlands Mall and Market Street. A paid shuttle is available to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for designated concerts and events.
