"We loved everything, the owners were great, really helpful and polite, the bedroom was very clean, the bed was warm and cosy, the usual tea/coffee in the room but went above and beyond by providing little extras like 2 dressing gowns, hand creams, a little jar of biscuits and sweets, plus a booklet of places of where to go and points of interest we chose to go to the birds of prey centre very good, the breakfast was out of this world ? so much choice of fresh and dried fruit ?, full English, choice of about at least 8 cereals and about 5 choices of fresh juice! and the owners really looked after me and my wife."

excellent hosts delicious breakfast ideal location

the location was ideal. i could easily reach the north yorkshire moors railway and town. simon and pauline seemed like excellent hosts. breakfast was delicious. yoghurts, pastries, and fruit were also available.

the room needed some tlc.

a decent stay

fantastic choice cute hosts dirty room noisy road

The breakfast had a fantastic choice (it really covered all bases). i also found the hosts very cute. They really went the extra mile. we wanted some milk to make a packed lunch to go on a hike, and they asked if we needed a flask too.

the room was not clean and i saw cobwebs everywhere. also, the road outside was very noisy, i noticed it quite a bit.

fresh produce cute hosts

the breakfast was the best i have ever had! it was nice and hot with fresh produce. there was plenty to choose from. the hosts were very cute too.

i noticed 39 steps to the second floor.

the hotel had excellent parking very close to town. i could easily reach north yorkshire moors railway and town. it was easy to get to places like whitby. a market takes place each monday.

i found the hosts cute upon my arrival. the room was clean, it also featured convenient tea and coffee facilities. the breakfast offered fantastic choices like a full english, cereals, pastries, fruit, and yogurt. they have excellent parking.

cute hosts spacious room comfortable bed

the location was good i found a car park too the breakfast was superb it had so much choice the hosts were very cute they were friendly i thought the room was spacious i liked the comfortable bed there were lots of extra touches. i felt it was good value for money. i thought the breakfast was amazing i found the owners very friendly the room had everything i could have possibly required the atmosphere was relaxed it was easy going.

the room was not clean i saw cobwebs everywhere i thought the road outside was very noisy
