The Covered Bridge House has 5 guestrooms, including one suite. The 2-room suite features antique decor and an iPod docking station. The private bathroom is located across the hall. Other rooms feature antique decor and an en suite bathroom. A maximum of 2 adults can be accommodated in each room. Amenities include air conditioning, garden furniture, free toiletries, carpeted or parquet floors.
Breakfast and Pantry
A hearty country breakfast is served each morning at individual tables in the sunny dining room from 8 AM to 9 AM, including a seasonal fresh fruit, homebaked breads or sweetrolls and a cooked-to-order entree such as blueberry pancakes, peach stuffed French toast, or Belgian waffles, all served with pure New Hampshire maple syrup. Eggs are always an option, along with herbal and regular teas, juice, coffee, yogurts, and cereals. There is a pantry with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can use the outdoor hot tub year-round. The living room is available for gathering with friends or family, with a jigsaw puzzle and fireplace. The Saco River offers opportunities for swimming, tubing, canoeing, and kayaking. Rental companies and shuttle services are nearby. Discounted trail passes are available for Great Glen Trails, located at the base of Mount Washington.
