The location is great, nestled in the Yanyue hutong. I found many local dining options nearby. The courtyard created a relaxing atmosphere. i especially liked the traditional live music on the weekend.

The narrow road leading to the hotel felt remote. i think it may not be worth the money for some travelers.

the beds were ultra comfortable. the decor was gorgeous inside and out. i enjoyed the courtyard with fish, birds, and lounge chairs. my room was spacious. i found thoughtful slippers of two kinds, cotton bath slippers and rubber slippers. the staff was friendly.

the narrow road leading to the hotel was a slight inconvenience.
