Coronet Motel rooms include air conditioning and a private bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries, and a hair dryer. Rooms have a flat-screen cable TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine. Guests will find a coffee machine in the room. Certain units feature a seating area. The motel has free WiFi throughout the property. Two-room jr suites include a sitting room with a sofa bed (additional fee for sofa bed sheets/bedding) and a bedroom with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. Open design single-room layouts feature two queen beds and ensuite bathroom, or one king bed with a sofa bed (additional fee for sofa bed sheets/bedding) and ensuite bathroom. ADA compliant single-room layouts feature a queen size bed with a twin size bed and ADA compliant bathroom, including a raised toilet seat upon request, grab bars, an ADA compliant sink, a roll-in shower with grab bars and adjustable shower head. Ironing facilities are available. Each room has a seating area with a work desk and a sofa bed.

Location and Transportation

Coronet Motel is next to California Avenue, Palo Alto's 'Avenue of the Arts', and is a 10-minute walk from California Ave Caltrain, where a 45 minute train ride will take you into San Francisco or San Jose. Stanford's free Marguerite shuttle service stops across the street from the property. The motel is 30 km from Mineta San Jose International. From San Francisco International Airport, take the Bay Area Rapid Transport (BART) Yellow-S train to the San Bruno CalTrain station, then transfer to the CalTrain southbound platform. Purchase a Zone 3 ticket to the California Avenue CalTrain station. Follow the signs to California Avenue. Use the Oregon Expressway/Embarcadero Rd exit from US-CA Highway 101. Stay on Oregon Expressway for 2.5 miles headed west. The Coronet Motel is on the right at the corner of Sherman Ave and El Camino Real. There are over 20 restaurants, shops and grocery stores on California Avenue.
