The Commonwealth has 59 rooms. Each room features premium bedding, a laptop-compatible safe, a laptop-friendly workspace, and air conditioning. Bathrooms feature Essentiel Elements Bathe Collection amenities containing Grapeseed Oil, Ginkgo Biloba, and Vitamin C. Cozy Studios have one king or two queen beds, a built-in closet system, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and a safe. Comfy Suites have one king bed, a living area with a queen size sleeper sofa, and an extra-large work desk. Roomy Suites have one king or two queen beds. Homey Suites add a modern kitchenette with an apartment-size refrigerator/freezer, a sink, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. All rooms offer complimentary high-speed wired and wireless internet, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a 50' flat-screen TV with HD programming, Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, accessible outlets and USB ports, a clock radio with Bluetooth music streaming, spacious marble and granite baths, a digital laptop safe, a Keurig coffeemaker, Virginia Artesian bottled water, and handcrafted furnishings and artwork from local Virginia artisans. Certain rooms have a seating area. Each entrance door is tattooed with the name of the suite.
Dining: Rueger's and Mercantile
Rueger's, the hotel's restaurant and bar, specializes in Southern comfort food with a healthy and modern twist. It pays homage to the original eatery that opened on this site in 1846.
