Colonial Inn features 62 guest accommodations across four buildings: Main Inn, Shorebirds, Garden Grove, and Beach Rose. The Main Inn, built in 1886, offers rooms with king beds and views of the Atlantic Ocean from the third and fourth floors. The Shorebirds building provides rooms with two queen beds, patios, or balconies. Garden Grove rooms have outdoor spaces with access to Marginal Way. Beach Rose features apartment-style units. Rooms include complimentary WiFi, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffee makers, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, hair dryers, and ironing boards.
Breakfast and Bar
The Colonial Inn provides a complimentary continental breakfast in the Main Inn from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, featuring baked goods, pastries, bagels, fruit, granola, yogurt, hot oatmeal, coffee, tea, and juice. Guests can have breakfast in the lobby or on the wrap-around porch. The service bar in the lobby offers liquors, wines, and domestic and local beers after 4 pm daily, with beverages served in the gathering spaces.

The Colonial Inn features a seasonal heated outdoor pool and hot tub, open from Memorial Day through Indigenous Peoples' Day, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Nearby attractions include Marginal Way, a mile-long paved cliff walk, local art galleries, Jonathan's OGT for live performances, and Ogunquit Playhouse.

Located halfway between downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove at 145 Shore Road, The Colonial Inn is a few minutes walk from Marginal Way and a ten-minute walk to Ogunquit Beach. The Green Heron Fine Art Gallery, Little Beach, and Ogunquit Memorial Library are within 0.5 km. Trolley service is available in the summer. Pease International Tradeport is 40 km away.
