Superior rooms are oceanfront, featuring terraces with sea views. The junior suites feature king-sized beds, a sitting area, and a balcony with sea views. The junior suite wing has a private bar, lounge, terrace, and pool exclusive to guests.
Onsite Dining
The Hibiscus Restaurant includes private outdoor dining decks and an ocean-view terrace, serving full English buffet breakfasts, evening buffets, and à la carte options. Children's menus and vegetarian meals are available with advance notice. The Mango Terrace Bar & Restaurant offers casual poolside à la carte meals with ocean views. Live entertainment is available one or two evenings weekly.
Leisure Facilities
The hotel features two pools, one in the shape of a Coco de Mer nut and the other at an over-ocean pool pavilion. A kiddies' paddling pool is also available. The Black Parrot pool, for adults only, is in the junior suite wing. The Waterfront Spa features three treatment rooms with personalized service, offering massages, facials, body wraps, and beauty treatments. The gym has ocean views. Guests can use stand-up paddle boards and canoes for free. Snorkeling equipment and bicycles are available for hire. There is also a giant chess board.
Location and Access
Located on the southwest coast of Praslin Island, Coco de Mer Hotel is 15 minutes from Praslin Airport and 10 minutes from the Praslin jetty by car. The hotel is near Anse Madge (3 km), Pointe Cabris (3 km), and Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve (2.5 km). A complimentary private shuttle bus goes to Anse Lazio several times per week.
Hotel Services
The hotel offers guided nature walks through the tropical forest, where guests can see Coco de Mer palms, cinnamon and cashew trees, and vanilla plants. Scuba diving and day trips to La Digue and other neighboring islands can be arranged. The hotel is a venue for weddings with customized packages available. The ceremony takes place in a private gazebo overlooking the ocean.
