The Surf's Up Room mirrors the colors of the ocean and includes two double beds, one single bed, a luxury sofa, and an en-suite bathroom. The Golf Room overlooks the Spanish Point Golf Course, with two king-size beds, leather couches, a flatscreen TV, and an en-suite bathroom. The Atlantic View Room overlooks Spanish Point Beach and includes a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a seating area. Apartment 1 has a living/dining area with full kitchen facilities, an extra-large leather couch, and a flatscreen TV; a separate bedroom includes two double beds, one single bed, and a large en-suite bathroom. Apartment 2 features a living area with a fully equipped kitchenette, couch, sofa bed, flatscreen TV, and dining table; a separate bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. All rooms feature a flatscreen TV with satellite channels, soundproof walls, chocolate, free toiletries and views of the sea or garden. Some rooms include a sitting area. The bathrooms include a shower and a hairdryer. Apartments also offer a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, kitchenware, a tea/coffee maker, and a private entrance.
Food and Drink
The Coast Lodge features a restaurant with a menu prepared by an award-winning chef, using local seafood, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, and organic meat. The restaurant also includes a variety of wines and beers. Guests can enjoy a cooked-to-order breakfast. The menu includes appetizers such as Soup of the Day (€ 6.95), Crispy Squid Rings (€ 9.95), and Wild Atlantic Mussels (€ 13.50). Main courses include The Coast Lodge Burger (€ 21.50), Classic Fish & Chips (€ 21.50), Seafood Risotto (€ 22.95), and BBQ Pork Ribs (€ 22.95). Pizzas range from €12.50 to €17.50 and include Margherita, Capricciosa, Pepperoni, Bella Carne, and Prosciutto e' Rucola options. A children's menu is available. Every Day 12pm-9pm the restaurant offers COAST LODGE BURGER & CHIPS (€14.50), CLASSIC FISH&CHIPS (€14.50), ADULTS TENDERS & CHIPS (€14.50), SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN WINGS (€9.50). Homemade sauces are available for € 1.70.
Leisure Activities
Guests at The Coast Lodge can enjoy activities such as golfing, horse riding, and windsurfing. Spanish Point beach is suitable for surfing. A shared lounge is available for guest use. The property is a four-minute drive from Miltown Malbay. Nearby landmarks include Willie Clancy Statue (2.5 km), The Music Makers of West Clare (2 km), and Saint Joseph's Well (0.3 km).
