I found a few things lacking. The shower was blocked , and it took a while for anyone to address it. Also , the room carpets needed a much better clean. It seemed like the basics were overlooked despite the cost of the stay.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The bar area provided a great space for relaxation and socializing. I enjoyed the estate walks because they provided lovely scenery and a restful place. The reasonably priced evening meal was delicious and satisfying.
I noticed some slight wear on the carpets in the stairs.
