Breakfast is included, with the exception of Comfort Hotel(R) Xpress and GLO Hotel Airport, featuring organic products, eggs, Fairtrade bananas, orange juice, fruit, cereals and toppings. The restaurant serves an organic breakfast overlooking the fjord and harbor. Afternoon 'fika' (coffee, tea, and something sweet) is served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. An evening meal is served daily from 6 PM to 8 PM. Varying opening hours during summer season and major holidays.
Leisure and Activities
The gym is equipped with a treadmill, exercise bike, rowing machine and multi-gym, open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM. Two fishing rods are available for guest use free of charge. Local outdoor activities include hiking, biking, and skiing. Gangsastoppen and Harstad Golf Club provide recreational opportunities.
Location and Transport
Clarion Collection Hotel Arcticus is on the pier in Harstad, in the same building as the Harstad Culture House and town library. Landmarks nearby include Laugen (2.5 km), Turist (3 km), Adolfkanonen (3.5 km), Grottebadet (1 km), Harstad Church (1 km), Trondarnes Distriktsmuseum (2.5 km), and Trondenes Fort (3 km). It is located near the North Norwegian Festival of Culture in June. Harstad/Narvik Airport is 50 km away, approximately a 1-hour drive. The airport bus provides direct transport to and from the hotel. Airport taxis can be ordered up to 3 hours in advance.
