Tech-Forward Stay!

ipad control river view accommodating staff

The room featured an iPad that controlled lighting, blinds, and temperature. This was very convenient. The bed faced the river. The view was awesome. Staff members were nice and accommodating. I really felt welcome.

The bathroom lacked privacy. A curtain divided it from the rest of the room.

modern stay downtown

self-service kiosks comfortable bed convenient canteenm king room

i found the self-service kiosks made check-in fast but staff offered help. my king room had a comfortable bed, i could adjust lighting and temperature through a tablet. the common areas included a bar and lounge area. canteenm operates 24/7 and it provided easy access to snacks and drinks.

the tv in my room turned itself back on, even after i turned it off. i contacted the front desk, and they suggested a restart, but this did not solve the issue. i had to cover the tv to block the light and sleep.

the hotel sits near public transport, including several subway stations, allowing easy travel. millennium park and the riverwalk are accessible by foot. many restaurants and shops are close to the hotel.

An Acceptable Experience

The hotel's location was convenient. Everything I wanted to see was within a reasonable walking distance. Check-in was very easy. The vibes in my room were also appealing. I liked the mood lighting.

The room was quite small. It felt more suited for a solo traveler. I found that the tablet controls were not very intuitive. Adjusting the lights became somewhat cumbersome. The blinds closed automatically upon leaving the room, so I always entered a dark space.
