Chateau Marmont features overly sized suites decorated with Golden-era Hollywood decor. Accommodations include terraces and views of the Sunset Strip. The architecturally significant hillside bungalows are designed by Craig Elwood. Cottages, poolside bungalows and hillside bungalows have bigger bathrooms, mid-century furniture and wooden floorboards. All guest rooms have 42-inch flat-screen TVs, an iPod docking station, and CD and DVD player. The bungalows have a living room, kitchen, and dining area adjacent to the pool.

Chateau Marmont has an on-site restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tables on the outdoor patio are popular for celebrity sightings. Executive chef Carolynn Spence oversees food at both the formal restaurant and Bar Marmont. Bar Marmont uses local produce in each dish and has a less formal vibe than the main restaurant. A Japanese restaurant, headed by New York City restaurateur Reika Alexander, has its own entrance off Sunset Boulevard. Breakfast includes blueberry pancakes, avocado toast, breakfast burritos, and huevos rancheros. Bar Marmont's house specialty is the Butterfly's Kiss, made with vanilla vodka and Goldschlager.

The boutique hotel features a heated outdoor pool surrounded by gardens. The guest-only pool area has sun loungers and a corner bar. Guests can borrow CDs like Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, and the Eurythmics from the front desk. There is a small fitness centre with weights.

Chateau Marmont is located in Hollywood. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is 1.9-miles away. Sunset Plaza is a walkable half-mile stretch of restaurants like BLT Steak and boutiques like Roberto Cavalli. Runyon Canyon Park is 2.5 km away.
