i found the staff cute. the breakfast offered a wide selection of breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, fruits, yogurt, and hot dishes. i also appreciated their assistance with tour recommendations and the availability of bikes for rent (i enjoyed a ride through the countryside).
i found the room i stayed in had too many steps for easy access. bringing luggage was complicated, especially given my mobility issues. it's worth considering this if you have similar concerns.

friendly staffinadequate room sizefluctuating water pressure
the staff was friendly enough. the breakfast was okay (especially the cheese).
The room size felt inadequate, more like a closet. and the shower (i stayed in a 'chambre standard') was a joke. The water pressure fluctuated wildly. plus, the noise from what i assume was the kitchen persisted way too late into the evening, disturbing any chance of sound sleep.

i liked the pool. the courtyard was also nice. the staff was helpful in making dinner reservations (which was appreciated). the chateau was clean and the room was nice.
the mattress was hard. i thought the shower bathtub was dangerous. the kitchen was noisy during breakfast, and i could hear them from my room.

Wonderful Stay in a Charming Rotunda

I stayed in one of the garden rotundas, and it was spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. I appreciated the easy, secure parking available. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and cute.
The breakfast , though decent , wasn't really really good.

The location proved convenient for accessing nearby areas of interest and it met my basic needs for accommodation .
My room was not adequately cleaned. There were hairs in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet had limited options. The scrambled eggs were watery and flavorless, and the pastries seemed stale and mass-produced. I expected better quality food considering the price.
