a mixed bag in beaune
dripping faucet needed maintenance
the location was indeed central, awesome for easy exploration of the nearby area.
The room i had could have used some tlc. The faucet dripped incessantly, a constant reminder of the need for some maintenance i guess..

secure parking cute reception
I secured parking through the intercom. It led to a secure area. The lady at reception was very cute and helpful. She made a reservation at a dog-friendly restaurant nearby. The building is traditional and full of charm. The hotel is beautifully maintained with modern facilities.

The room was well decorated and had a good size. An elevator exists for guest luggage. The room featured soundproofing. A comfortable bed and bathroom were included.

disruptive street noise sparsely stocked minibar
The room i was assigned lacked proper soundproofing. Street noise was disruptive, especially early in the morning. the minibar was sparsely stocked. Only water and a few soft drinks were available, lacking basic snacks or a selection of alcoholic beverages. the advertised turndown service was not provided any of the nights of my stay.. this omission was disappointing considering the hotel's supposed level of service.
