"This hotel retains a lot of the charm of an old chateau - a winding staircase it's wide and worn stone steps, high ceilings, a relaxing garden."

Highlights

Location: 4 kilometers west of Uzès

Rooms: Chambre Magnanerie and Appartement

Dining: La Plage aux Herbes restaurant

Historical: Home of Comtesse d'Agoult

Wellness: Spa packages and massages

“I see a property that attempts to blend 18th-century architecture with modern expectations near Uzes, but experiences seem mixed. While the setting has potential with its gardens and pool, some rooms may not meet a true four-star standard, based on what I've gathered. The on-site dining also appears inconsistent, especially given the pricing.”
