Chabil Mar Villas, 70 km from Independence, offers one and two-bedroom Luxury Seafront Vista Villas. These villas feature approximately 950 square feet of living space, with personal sea-facing verandas that include a hammock and dining area. Each villa provides air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a kitchen. The private bathroom includes free toiletries. Some villas offer full or partial sea views. Returnable bottles, without plastic, are used for all water, which is also provided in guest refrigerators. The design incorporates locally crafted furnishings and art.

The resort is near many eateries in Placencia Village along the four-foot wide pedestrian-only sidewalk, known as the 'World's Narrowest Main Street' by the Guinness Book of Records.
