Rooms at Casita Maya

Casita de Maya Boutique Hotel has five rooms, each with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a mini-fridge. Rooms also include laptop-friendly workspaces, air conditioning, and free WiFi. Bathrooms provide free toiletries. Some rooms have city or pool views. The Suite incorporates both the Deluxe Queen Bedroom and the Standard Twin Bedroom, connected for families. Double rooms feature a microwave, tile/marble floor, and air conditioning. Deluxe rooms are decorated in tropical tones and offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a microwave, and a mini-fridge.

Dining at Casita Maya

La Mission uses the freshest ingredients for daily meals and offers a variety of dishes. Del Sur provides different types of empanadas. The property has a 2nd Floor Bar area with a Big Screen TV. The American owner, Daniel, can arrange for a local chef to prepare authentic breakfasts and dinners with advance notice. La Perlia provides a home-style, personal dining experience.

Leisure and Activities

Guests enter the lush verdant greenery through the front gates of the Grand Palapa courtyard. Pool lounges are positioned for sunbathing. The small dipping pool has a waterfall feature that provides ambient noise. Playa Azul is one of the closest beaches. Cozumel Diving is ranked among some of the best places to dive due to its marine life, crystal clear water, and impressive wall dives. Three reefs, including the famous 'Palancar Reef,' feature fauna and tropical fish life, along with sea turtles and manta rays. Snorkeling with Ivan provides a safe diving experience on the Island.

Location and Transport

Casita de Maya is located in a mostly residential neighborhood. The hotel is flanked by a car rental agency and an upscale residential house. Landmarks nearby include the Coral Reefs Monument (2.5 km), Eben-Ezer Presbyterian Church (1 km), and Museum of Cozumel (2.5 km). Boat ferries from PDC cross the channel in about 40 minutes directly to Cozumel. Direct buses from Cancun Airport are available directly to Playa del Carmen.
