One handicapped room features a bathroom with a 60-inch turnaround space for wheelchairs, two twin beds with 30-inch clear space between them, a roll-in shower with grab rails, and a kitchenette with appliances. Bathtubs feature removable seats, parallel grab bars on the back wall, and a single grab bar on the opposite wall. The Accessible Crescent Single features two queen beds, a bathroom with a walk-in shower with grab bars, and a kitchenette with a two-top burner, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink with a dishwasher. The Captiva Beach Resort provides a 20x40 foot heated swimming pool. Resort games include ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard, and bocce ball. Siesta Key and Sarasota offer restaurants, art museums, performing arts, and shopping. Nearby beaches include Siesta Beach, Turtle Beach, Nokomis Beach, Caspersen Beach, Brohard Beach, and Lido Beach. Brohard Beach and Paw Park is the area's only off-leash dog beach. Myakka River State Park, a nature preserve with hammocks, cabbage palms, and nature trails, is also nearby.
