Captiva Beach Resort offers 19 guest rooms, ranging from studios to two-bedroom suites. Some suites have dishwashers. Some studios offer a private patio with seating, tropical landscaping, a fountain, and an outdoor shower.
Accessibility Features
Captiva Beach Resort offers ADA-compliant parking and curbs. The pool has a handicapped access lift. Doors and entryways are more than 32 inches wide, and hallways and ramps are at least 36 inches wide. One handicapped room features a bathroom with a 60-inch turnaround space for wheelchairs, two twin beds with 30-inch clear space between them, a roll-in shower with grab rails, and a kitchenette with appliances. Bathtubs feature removable seats, parallel grab bars on the back wall, and a single grab bar on the opposite wall. The Accessible Crescent Single features two queen beds, a bathroom with a walk-in shower with grab bars, and a kitchenette with a two-top burner, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink with a dishwasher. You can increase the size of your mouse cursor and have your computer read webpages aloud.
Leisure and Amenities
The Captiva Beach Resort provides a 20x40 foot heated swimming pool. Resort games include ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard, and bocce ball. Guests have access to BBQ grills, laundry facilities (coin-operated), an ice machine, beach towels, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Location and Activities
Captiva Beach Resort is located in Siesta Key, off the coast of Sarasota, Florida. It is a 2-minute walk (400 feet on a circular driveway) from a private beach on Crescent Beach and 16 km from Sarasota Jungle Gardens. The resort is minutes from downtown Sarasota, St Armand's Circle, and Venice Main Street. St Armand's Circle shopping center is half a mile away. Siesta Key and Sarasota offer restaurants, art museums, performing arts, and shopping. Nearby beaches include Siesta Beach, Turtle Beach, Nokomis Beach, Caspersen Beach, Brohard Beach, and Lido Beach. Brohard Beach and Paw Park is the area's only off-leash dog beach. Myakka River State Park, a nature preserve with hammocks, cabbage palms, and nature trails, is also nearby.
