Rooms with private terraces
Capofaro Locanda & Malvasia has twenty-seven rooms, each featuring a private terrace with sea or garden views. Located on Tasca d'Almerita's wine estate, the rooms offer accommodation in individual, Aeolian-style whitewashed houses. Classic Rooms, located in the main estate, measure 160-215 sq ft and feature a king size or twin beds. Superior Rooms, also in the main estate, measure 194-280 sq ft and offer a king size bed. Junior Suites measure 323-430 sq ft and include a lounge area. Suites Anfiteatro are 430 sq ft, feature a king size bed, and offer a lounge area with an extra single bed. Rooms include air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. Bathrooms are equipped with complimentary toiletries and an electric kettle. Certain rooms do not accommodate extra beds and children aged 11 and under are not allowed in some rooms.
Sicilian Dining Experience
The restaurant at Capofaro offers Sicilian cuisine, with dishes paired with Tasca d'Almerita wines. The menu features ingredients from the hotel's garden. Breakfast includes Sicilian pastries such as bombe, graffe, and sfinci. Guests can book chef Gabriele Camiolo and a sommelier to prepare picnic baskets for sunset aperitifs at Pollara. A panoramic outdoor dining table is available on the villa's terrace for candle-lit dinners. A system of gardens supplies 70 percent of the produce used in the kitchen. Bread, jam, ricotta, marinades, and pickled vegetables are all prepared in house.
Pool, Spa and Activities
Capofaro has a freshwater pool surrounded by Malvasia vineyards. A garden spa provides treatments and massages. A paddle tennis court is located by the lighthouse, and yoga lessons are available on the Club House roof. Guests have access to a pebbled private beach with a free shuttle service. Boat trips and nautical excursions to Stromboli can be arranged, including scuba diving.

Capofaro is located on Salina, the greenest of the Aeolian Islands, part of a UNESCO world heritage site. It is situated on Tasca d'Almerita's wine estate, below the slopes of Monte Fossa. The hotel is 3 km from Carlo Hauner Azienda Agricola and 0.5 km from Portella village. Landmarks nearby include the Church of San Lorenzo (3 km) and Chiesa di Santa Marina (2.5 km).
