Cape Fox Lodge has 69 hotel rooms and 2 suites, each offering views of the sea or mountains. Rooms include either two double beds or one king bed. Suites feature a separate bedroom with a king bed, a living area with a hide-a-bed couch and two chairs, and an oversized bathroom with a spa tub. Standard amenities include air conditioning, blackout drapes, cable/satellite TV with Showtime channels, a coffee maker, a clock radio, free local calls, complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, a mini-fridge, a microwave oven, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Dining at Cape Fox

The Heen Kahidi Dining Room provides views and Alaskan cuisine. Menu options include Alaskan seafood like Alaska King Crab, halibut, and salmon. Eagle's Nest Brick Oven Pizza offers New York-style thin-crust pizza, sandwiches, and desserts. Sweet Mermaids serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, and baked goods. The Heen Kahidi Lounge features live music from April to September. 108 Taphouse specializes in craft cocktails and pub fare.

Things To Do

Cape Fox Lodge offers a gift shop in the lobby. There is an in-house museum that celebrates Tlingit culture. Transportation is provided to bookable day tours. Baranof Fishing Excursions are available. The lodge provides shuttle bus service to the Ketchikan International Airport ferry terminal. A tram runs from the lodge to Creek Street, weather permitting. There is a workout room available.

Location and Access

Cape Fox Lodge is located on the hillside near the Tongass National Forest. Landmarks nearby include The Soho Coho (0.3 km), Creek Street (0.5 km), and the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center (0.5 km). Ketchikan International Airport is 10 km away, accessible via a ferry. The lodge provides shuttle service to and from the Ketchikan International Airport Ferry.

Services & Conveniences

Cape Fox Lodge provides business services. There are meeting spaces. The Ted Ferry Civic Center is next to Cape Fox Lodge. It has audio-visual equipment, copiers, high-speed Internet access, and teleconference equipment. A portable stage and oak dance floor are available. Cape Fox Lodge provides catering for the Civic Center. Laundry and send-out dry cleaning services are available. The front desk has a safe-deposit box. Rollaway beds are available upon request.
