The property is located in the Cathar region, near Montségur, Peyrepertuse, and Queribus. Camurac offers paragliding, and the area provides opportunities for climbing, rafting, kayaking, and canoeing. A lake for swimming is five minutes away. Skiing is available in Camurac and nearby stations like Ax-les-Thermes and Ascou.
