The building has ancient charm on the outside. The inside has been refurbished to high standards. The air conditioning kept the room very cool. I enjoyed a continental breakfast in the hotel gardens.

The room we stayed in lacked decor. The bathroom had plain beige tile. The shower was a tiny alcove. I found this disappointing.

i was a little disappointed with the room i got. it faced the street, and it was quite noisy at night, not ideal when you are trying to sleep. (i am from the countryside) additionally, i found that getting any airflow was a problem since a fan i requested never looked. for the price i paid, i expected a quieter room and better attention to my needs.
