Historical Hotel Thrilled Me!

tranquil ground interior garden breakfast beverage

I find that the hotel has tranquil grounds. The interior garden became my favorite. I enjoyed the breakfast food and beverages. It was fresh. Roberta gave us the hotel tour and I learned a lot about the convent. I loved the history and signature cocktail.

I did have trouble with the shower control. Adjusting hot and cold water involved two controls. I struggled to get it right. A single temperature control would be better.

ancient charm high standard cool air conditioning beige tile tiny alcove room decor

The building has ancient charm on the outside. The inside has been refurbished to high standards. The air conditioning kept the room very cool. I enjoyed a continental breakfast in the hotel gardens.

The room we stayed in lacked decor. The bathroom had plain beige tile. The shower was a tiny alcove. I found this disappointing.

minor disappointments

street noise unattended request

i was a little disappointed with the room i got. it faced the street, and it was quite noisy at night, not ideal when you are trying to sleep. (i am from the countryside) additionally, i found that getting any airflow was a problem since a fan i requested never was. for the price i paid, i expected a quieter room and better attention to my needs.
