The kitchen team prepares dishes you can enjoy in the castle restaurant with its panoramic terrace or comfortably in the vaulted cellar. The Widukindkeller is an 800-year-old vault.

Landmarks nearby include Krukenburg (7 km), Deiseler Tunnel Sudportal (2 km), Steinkopf (4.5 km) and Rapunzelturm (1 km). Kassel can be glimpsed in the far distance on a clear day from the tower. All premises of the castle are licensed as a registry office.
