The kitchen team prepares dishes you can enjoy in the castle restaurant with its panoramic terrace or comfortably in the vaulted cellar. The Widukindkeller is an 800-year-old vault.

The salt house contains 2 tons of deep salt from the Luisenhall salt works. The tower includes the 'Torture Museum', the 'Fear Hole', and the Grimm's Floor, with silhouettes by Albert Völkl.

Hotel Burg Trendelburg is in the Hessian town of Trendelburg, surrounded by green fields and hills. The hotel is 30 km from Kassel-Calden. Landmarks nearby include Krukenburg (7 km), Deiseler Tunnel Sudportal (2 km), Steinkopf (4.5 km) and Rapunzelturm (1 km). Kassel can be glimpsed in the far distance on a clear day from the tower. All premises of the castle are licensed as a registry office.
