Rooms and Wagons
The Broken Spur Inn has 50 units with air-conditioning, 32-inch flat-screen TVs with DirecTV (over 100 channels), mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms include a private balcony and spa bath. Bed quilts feature a Western-themed design. For a different experience, stay in a Conestoga Wagon that accommodates up to five people. Each wagon has its own private bathroom in a separate building 25 feet (7 meters) away. Microwaves are available upon request.
Steakhouse Dining
The Broken Spur Steakhouse serves breakfast daily until 10:00 AM; breakfast is a hot buffet. Dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (9:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays), with aged meat cut in-house. The menu includes steak, Pistachio crusted salmon, country cordon bleu, and pasta. The steakhouse is open from March 15th through early November. The restaurant has a hilltop location with views. The on-site steakhouse has a menu and a liquor license.
Leisure Facilities
Guests can relax in the seasonal hot tub and indoor pool. There is also a gift shop and a kids playground area. The hotel has ATV access to the Velvet Ridges at Sand Creek. Goblin Valley State Park is suitable for a day trip. See southern Utah's canyons, Capitol Reef National Park, and Boulder Mountain.
Location and Access
The Broken Spur Inn is at the junction of HWY 12 and 24. The hotel is up on the mesa, away from the main highway. Landmarks nearby include Gallery 24 (2 km), Ripple Rock Nature Center (2 km), and The Torrey Gallery (2 km). Scenic HWY 12 goes over to Boulder, UT. The Burr Trail starts in Boulder, UT, and ends back in Torrey, with slot canyons. The Cathedral Valley District of Capitol Reef National Park is open all year. Goblin Valley State Park is unlike anywhere else in Utah.
