The Briars - Adults Only offers rooms with tea and coffee makers, carpeted floors, and private bathrooms that include showers and hairdryers. Rooms feature heating and TVs. Guests can choose from twin, single, and double rooms. Some rooms offer sea or garden views. Superior double en-suite rooms offer sea views from bay windows. Specific rooms include Room 1 (superior bay fronted double), Room 2 (small double on the ground floor with a shower en-suite overlooking the patio), Room 3 (smaller double on the first half landing overlooking the patio), Room 4 (twin room with refurbished en-suite), Room 6 (superior sea view single with a 3 ft bed), Room 7 (double en-suite with a bath and shower), Room 9 (large sea view double on the top floor), Room 10 (small sea view double on the second floor), Room 12 (large double overlooking the back garden and patio with a refurbished en-suite). Occupancy is from 3 PM on the day of arrival to 10 AM on the day of departure, unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance. The number of guests in a room must not exceed the stated maximum.
Lounge, Bar, and Patio
The Briars features a guest lounge with views across the bay. The patio includes perennial flowers and hanging baskets. The licenced bar is located via double doors from the lounge. Access to the patio is via 4 stone steps with hand rails from the main entrance hall. There is a toilet 3 steps down from the hall on the ground floor for guest use whilst using the lounge, bar or patio.
Dining Options
Each morning, guests receive a breakfast menu for the following day's hot breakfast choice and must submit the choice by 7 PM. Tea and filtered coffee are served. The property can accommodate special dietary requirements with prior notice. Cereals, fruit juice and fruit are self service from the buffet table.
