Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo provides stylish hotel rooms on six floors based on three different themes: Joy, Flow, and Energy. Rooms include Standard Queen rooms with natural light, Standard Twin rooms with 100-cm-wide twin beds, and Standard King rooms in the chilli pepper red wing. Superior Twin rooms are located on the top floors and feature landscape and airport views. Superior King Harmony rooms, designed for adults, are located on the top floor of the chilli pepper red wing and offer plush double beds. Sauna suites are available in the chilli pepper red wing with private saunas, and a 50 m2 suite on the top floor includes a separate living room, bedroom, and walk-in closet. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bars, and private bathrooms. Energy-themed rooms are located next to the entertainment center.
Dining Choices
The Bankett Restaurant serves a breakfast. Amarillo restaurant offers Texas-style dishes, including burgers, fajitas, tacos, and wings. Room service from Amarillo is available until 9:00 p.m. The Break Shop, located next to the reception, is open 24 hours and offers snacks, souvenirs, and everyday products.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests have access to the Flamingo Spa Water Park, which features pools and slides. The Adult Spa (age limit 18) includes saunas, resting places, mineral and warm water pools, and a poolside restaurant. Saunas include a salt sauna, traditional sauna, Finnish sauna, and steam sauna. The atmospheric Laituri features a cold water pool and Panorama sauna, and can be reserved for private functions. Elixia Fitness Centre offers modern fitness equipment for a fee of €10/person for hotel guests. The entertainment center includes the Finnkino movie theatre, BowlCircus with bowling alleys and pool tables, and the Naurusaari indoor activity park.
Location and Transportation
Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo is in Vantaa, 5 km from Vantaa Airport and next to the Jumbo shopping center. The hotel has its own taxi rank. Bus 562 runs from the Valuuttapolku stop (200m from the hotel) to the airport, and bus 600 runs from Väinö Tannerintie to the airport and Helsinki city center. The Tikkurila railway station is five kilometers away, and the Helsinki main railway station is 17 kilometers away. Driving instructions: From Ring III (E18), take the Vantaanportti/Pakkala ramp to Lentoasemantie (135), then follow Tasetie to the Flamingo P sign.
Hotel Services
The hotel offers free parking in the Flamingo entertainment centre car park; register the car at reception. Laundry service is available Monday to Friday, with laundry received before 9:00 a.m. returned by 6:00 p.m. Free WiFi is available. The Break Shop next to reception is open 24/7.
