Acceptable Hotel Experience

The room seemed quite spacious. The bathroom looked very good too. The location worked well for accessing the city center by foot. The beds offered super comfort.
The air-con wasn't great. Road noise was apparent. I felt the longer stays might be unpleasant, given the noise levels.

poor soundproofingmisleading description
The room i got didn't quite match the photos i saw online. it seemed a bit worn. There were some marks on the walls from spilled liquids. the really bad part was the soundproofing. I could hear everything the people next door said, and their shower sounded like it was in my own bathroom, waking me up at night.

The staff were pleasant and gave me lots OF information about the city.
The pillows were awful , and there was nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. A small table or a shelf under the sink is REALLY needed. The hotel could go from pleasant to fabulous with a few small changes.

The location was great. my room had a nice juliet balcony. Fresh air easily flowed into the room (i really enjoyed that). there was a hospitality tray with a kettle for tea and coffee, a nice touch.
The soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear street noise sometimes.
