Unique Rooms and Suites
Boutique Hotel De Witte Dame, the renovated former station building of Abcoude, provides rooms and suites with a unique appearance. The rooms include modern double rooms, luxury suites, and private suites, each decorated and equipped. The sleeping areas feature double beds. Bathrooms offer walk-in showers with rain shower and/or bathtub. All rooms in the main building have elevator access and a kitchenette with a refrigerator and an Illy coffee maker/kettle. The top-floor superior rooms feature original station beams. Private suites have a private entrance, a private terrace, and views over the meadows. Certain suites include an open bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and double shower.
Onsite Restaurant Dining
De Witte Dame features a restaurant with lunch and dinner options. The menu includes dishes according to original recipes with a local twist, prepared with sincere hospitality. Exclusive drinks and dinner are available for groups in the restaurant, which includes a bar and an open kitchen. Passers-by are welcome for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Meetings and Events
De Witte Dame provides spaces for meetings and gatherings. The largest meeting room in the main building accommodates up to 20 people. A new, larger space with meadow views is available for groups of 20 or more, featuring toilet facilities, a terrace, a kitchen, and a bar. Several separate rooms offer necessary facilities to stimulate creativity.
Location and Surroundings
Located in the middle of the polder on the river "the Gein," De Witte Dame is a 5-minute walk from Abcoude. The hotel is near Muiden and Weesp. Guests can explore the Angstel, the Gein, the Abcoudermeer, and the Vinkeveen lakes. Amsterdam is accessible by train within 22 minutes. The Fort near Abcoude is nearby.
