i enjoyed my stay of three nights here. our room, a studio lake view, had a very comfortable bed and high ceilings. breakfast was cooked to order each morning. i also very much liked the hotel grounds, with the various gardens and courtyards available to explore. i appreciated the easy parking available at the premises.

The bathroom amenities were minimal. I missed having a wider selection of toiletries .

we found the hotel spacious. our superior double room offered excellent space. the staff members were very friendly. they were also helpful .

the room was slightly cool when we arrived. the wood burning stove did not work . i found the bathroom amenities minimal. there were no american adapters available.

I relished the superb breakfast. Homemade granola and a full Scottish breakfast offered a good start to my days. The restaurant served excellent dinners. I especially enjoyed the walled garden, it felt magical. I loved the friendly staff.
