The staff were generally supportive. The location IS quite special.
The food quality was disappointing. The food was not cooked properly. I observed this during multiple meals. The dining room waiters seemed untrained. They were also forgetful and did not provide adequate service.

The surroundings are amazing. i especially adored the infinity pool. It overlooked such lush greenery!!!
the non-alcoholic drink options were limited. i really think they should offer more alcohol-free cocktails to improve the atmosphere.

Charming Stay with Excellent Service

attentive staff varied food helpful staff
I found the kitchen staff amazing and attentive. The food included a good mix of Indian and Western dishes. The reception staff were very helpful. The location offered views of the surrounding landscape, a great bonus.
I noticed a lack of interesting non-alcoholic options. The hotel should make more effort to create tasty, alcohol-free cocktails. They could also provide alcohol-free wine and beer. It would add to the atmosphere.

The hotel overlooks Attukad Waterfall, providing fine views. It is located in the middle of forest and tea gardens. The hotel is only a short drive from main points, with the benefit of being surrounded by nature.
