Hotel Bettmerhof, Bettmeralp

Hotel Bettmerhof sits at 1957 metres above sea level on the car-free plateau of Bettmeralp. All alpine-style rooms were renovated in 2014 and come with a balcony, with many offering direct views of the Matterhorn. Guests can ski down right to the ski lifts directly from the hotel, making access to the slopes immediate.

The hotel operates two distinct restaurants: one serving typical Swiss cuisine, the other Italian cuisine. Meals can also be taken outside on the sun terrace during good weather. Breakfast is included and noted as exceptional by guests.

The wellness area includes a sauna, a steam bath, a Kneipp basin, and an inviting rest area for relaxation after a day outdoors. Guests can wind down here regardless of the season. The spa facilities are well-maintained and open to all hotel guests.

Hotel Bettmerhof is a base for excursions to the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch region, including hiking trails around the Aletsch Glacier. In summer, a complimentary transport service picks up guests from the Bettmeralp cable car station on arrival. In winter, the hotel offers ski-to-door access and ski storage, with a surcharge for the same pick-up service.

Children have access to a dedicated playroom within the hotel. The property also provides a children's menu in both restaurants. Spacious alpine-style rooms with balconies offer families extra comfort and views of the Matterhorn.
