The reception team was very helpful. The room was clean, I appreciated that. Breakfast was well run. The room had all the facilities I needed, and I found it very clean.
The corridors looked rundown, and that contrasted with the lobby area. The bedding could have smelt fresher, I noticed that. The mattress was also quite firm, it was not ideal.

i found the room to be comfortable with all the essentials. the food was really lovely, especially the indian dishes. the wine was priced well, which i appreciated.
the car park was a bit dark when i arrived late, with a damaged bulb that needs replacing.

a few issues .
peeling paintdated rooms
The curtains in my room did not fully cover the window. I had to adjust them myself. the 'gastropub' felt more like a nightclub crossed with a sports bar. Two televisions playing football do not constitute a sports bar. the rooms appear quite dated, and peeling paint was visible.
