Rooms and suites

The Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile features 40 rooms and suites. Standard rooms offer a choice of a king bed or one or two queen beds, a sitting area separated from the sleeping area by a slatted wall, an armoire desk, wardrobe, television, and a slide-out pet bed. Tiled bathrooms have an open vanity area, with a sliding barn door for privacy, and a separate toilet and shower. Suites have a king bed with a built-in doghouse, bedside nooks for pets, an armoire desk, wardrobe, television, a slide-out pet bed, and a kitchenette with seating for six, a small refrigerator, cooking surface, and microwave. Two-level suites feature a pet introduction door leading into a living room with a pull-out queen sofa sleeper, a half bath, a kitchen with a dining table, six chairs, a small refrigerator, cooking surface, and a microwave. Each room is named for a beloved Best Friends alumni animal. Some rooms are cat-friendly. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth-capable HDTV, cruelty-free beauty products, Lutron lighting fixtures and controls, window treatment controls, a voice-over internet telephone, power and USB charging stations, an ironing board, an iron, and a coffee maker.

Mercantile dining options

A continental breakfast is provided for lodging guests in the Mercantile from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Coffee is available beginning at 6:30 a.m. Prepared food items are available for purchase, with all food and beverages being vegan. Try the Jerusalem shakshuka, a cast-iron skillet of eggs in a rich pepper sauce.
