The Benbow Historic Inn offers historical rooms equipped with private bathrooms, hairdryer, telephone, sherry decanter, clock radio, coffee maker, ironing board, reading materials, and WiFi. Terrace rooms include these amenities, plus robes, patio, patio table and chairs, refrigerator (Kings only), and a smart TV. Select suites feature vaulted ceilings, gas fireplaces, desks with outlets, and views of the Rose Garden, Reed Mountain, or the golf course. Some rooms have vintage copper soaking tubs. The Garden Cottage Room includes exposed beams, a king-size four-poster bed with canopy, sitting area, wood-burning fireplace, TV, and refrigerator with juices. Fireplace King rooms provide a California king bed, wood burning fireplace, large dressing area, sitting area, 55' flat screen TV, and mini refrigerator with juices. Terrace King and Queen rooms offer a private patio overlooking the gardens and stone bridge; some Queen rooms include a fold-out sofa bed. Queen Balcony rooms have a corner view of the patio and a private balcony overlooking the Eel River, stone bridge, and gardens. Premium King rooms face the Eel River and include a California king bed, flat screen TV, large closet, sitting area, and mini-refrigerator with complimentary juices. ADA compliant rooms are available.
Dining Options
The Benbow Historic Inn has a restaurant that serves dinner nightly from 5pm to 9pm. The bar opens at 3pm, with a bar food menu available from 3pm to 10pm. The restaurant hours are Brunch 8am to 2pm Saturday & Sunday and Dinner from 5pm to 9pm nightly. A full-service lounge is available. Breakfast is available in the Lobby Bar. The Lost Coast Brewery & Café offers dining along the California coast. The Lost French Man in Redway is known for its wood-fired pizza and diverse menu, serving breakfast through dinner.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests have access to a 9-hole PGA-rated golf course. The Benbow KOA, a short walk from the Inn, features a pool, jacuzzi, splash park, and sports court. An outdoor pool is open May to October, with an outdoor jacuzzi open year-round. Complimentary bicycles are available. The KOA Game Room offers pool, video games, board games, and a fireplace. Forest Bathing Tours and Avenue of the Giants Redwood Forest Eco Tours are available. The Forest Bathing Tour promotes stress reduction, increased immunity, and emotional well-being. Guests can keep a close watch for a small sign that says ' Rockefeller Forest/Lower Bull Creek Flats ' next to a single-lane paved road that descends the embankment to your left.

The Benbow Historic Inn is located near Garberville, in the heart of California Redwood Country near the Avenue of the Giants. It is situated on the banks of the Eel River in Humboldt County. Garberville Airport is 2 miles southwest of the central business district of Garberville. San Francisco International Airport is 3.5 hours away. Shelter Cove is 45 minutes away. Shuttle services to Garberville Airport can be arranged. Car rentals are available at the Arcata/Eureka Airport. Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt Redwoods Park are nearby.
