Original Rooms

Belvedere features 19 rooms furnished in a style that combines tradition and modern details. Rooms have wood floors, white walls, and wrought iron beds with colored bedspreads. Amenities include a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub, a hairdryer, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and individually controlled heating. The Executive Suite has a terrace overlooking the mountains and roofs of the island, plus a master bedroom with a lake-view terrace. The 50-square-meter suite, decorated in white and blue, includes a king-size bed, a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a bathtub, and Trussardi toiletries.

Lake View Restaurant

Belvedere has one restaurant with glass walls that open during warmer months. The restaurant serves classic Italian dishes, with a focus on lake fish and produce from the surrounding valleys. The menu includes cheeses from valleys and blue cheese, and wines such as Barolo and Dolcetto. Dishes are prepared according to homemade tradition. The restaurant is open from March to November for lunch and dinner. It is accessible via Navigazione Lago Maggiore public boat service. A taxi boat transfer is included in the cover charge.

Leisure on Lake Maggiore

Belvedere provides a terrace garden. Staff can organize excursions of the Borromeo Gulf on private motorboats or public transport vessels, and provide ferry schedules and local suggestions. Guests can book experiences including a private motorboat transfer from Stresa with a 4-course dinner in the room, or a speedboat transfer from Stresa with dinner at the Piccolo Lago restaurant. Other options include a visit to Isola Bella, Isola Madre or Santa Caterina with a private guide, or an offshore or Riva motorboat tour.

Belvedere is located on Isola Pescatori in Lake Maggiore, surrounded by the Alps. It can be reached via Navigazione Lago Maggiore public boat service from Baveno, Carciano Lido, Stresa, and Pallanza. During the summer, boats run frequently during the day. From Lombardia, ferries run between Laveno and Intra every 20 minutes. Milan-Malpensa Airport is 55 km away, approximately an hour and 30 minutes by train from Stresa Station. The hotel can arrange private motorboat service after 7:00 pm.
