Unique Alpine Lodging
Barons CreekSide Resort, Swiss-owned and operated, provides lodging on 26 acres near Fredericksburg's Main Street. Accommodations include 11 log cabins and 4 houses clustered around a creek, with kitchenettes or full kitchens and BBQ grills. Cabins offer king-sized beds, Jacuzzi tubs, and wood-burning fireplaces. Houses have multiple bedrooms and common spaces. The Hilltop Chalet includes two independent one-bedroom cabins, the SunRise and SunSet, each with full kitchens and patios. The Mesquite Farmhouse, renovated in 2023, features 2 bedrooms and a hot tub. The Big Lodge has 3 bedrooms and a wood-burning fireplace.
Bistro and Wine Bar
The Club bistro/wine bar offers dining options Thursday through Saturday. Kuhlman Cellars wines are available. The Club features a selection of Texas and International wines, craft beers, cheese plates, paninis, gumbo, and salads. Grilled meats from a local butcher are also available. Live music is performed from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Creekside and Vineyard Fun
Guests can explore Daniel's Creek and the nature trail, watch for birds, or fish in the creek. Wine tours and in-cabin couples massages can be arranged. The Barons Wagon offers a glamping experience with a king bed, bunk beds, and a private shower/vanity. Barons CreekSide is near Wine Road 290.
