Location & Access
Barahi Jungle Lodge is on the banks of the Rapti River, opposite Chitwan National Park. The lodge is 35 km from Bharatpur, with Bharatpur Airport being the closest airport at 32 km away (about an hour's drive to the lodge). Chartered helicopters can land directly at the hotel using one of the two helipads. The valley is bounded by the Mahabharat range to the north and the Churia-Shiwalik hills to the south, which form the international boundary with India.
