lackluster experience, some issues need attention

the hotel's location was convenient.

Check-in took an unreasonably long time. the receptionist seemed overwhelmed. The lady possibly the owner kept interrupting him. breakfast and dinner buffet options were seriously limited. the staff told me to come as early as possible for meals but when i arrived, all the trays were empty. they asked how many people were in my party and said they would cook accordingly. It felt inconvenient. i couldn't wait, as i had to leave early, and i asked for a refund, but i was told i couldn't get one since i booked through a third party.
