The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center features 153 rooms, each with a patio or balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Accommodations are spread across six buildings to suit various needs and budgets. The Main Hotel's rooms include balconies facing Frenchman Bay. Main Hotel rooms have either King or double Queen beds and include wi-fi, cable TV with premium channels, an in-room safe, refrigerator, and microwave. The Atlantic View rooms feature glass railings on private balconies. Portside and Oceanside rooms are approximately 25 feet from the ocean. The Willows offers 13 rooms with amenities such as wi-fi, air conditioning, cable TV with premium channels, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee/tea maker.

Dining at AO

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center has the Bistro Restaurant, featuring casual fine dining with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Frenchman Bay. Continental breakfast is complimentary in the Cadillac Café (lower level of Main Hotel) from 7am-10am daily, including freshly baked items, cereal, yogurt, whole fresh fruit, hot items along with milk, juices, coffee, and teas. The Bistro offers local and international cuisine and a full bar. Options includes Captain Gary's Fish & Chips, Mac & Cheese, Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon and more.

Leisure and Activities

The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tubs (open daily from 8am until 10pm), and a fitness facility (open daily from 8am until 10pm). Guests have access to 500 feet of private beach with nature cruises of Frenchman Bay that depart from the private pier. The hotel also provides access to a private 12-acre playground near Acadia National Park.

Location and Transport

Located on 12 acres of oceanfront property, the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center is one mile from Acadia National Park and the shops and restaurants of downtown Bar Harbor, Maine. Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport is 20 km away. A free seasonal shuttle to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor town center is available from mid-June. The high-speed CAT ferry travels between Bar Harbor, Maine and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 3.5 hours.
