Really good Stay in a Quiet Location

The staff were always available and helpful! The breakfast included fresh juices and delicious home-made cakes every day. I liked the private underground car park, very important, as parking in the area can be challenging.

Excellent stay with attentive service

city center helpful staff

i appreciated the short walk to the city center, though the return trip was uphill (a bus stops just outside, which i found useful). The hotel garden provides various seating areas with excellent views (perfect. The staff are very nice and helpful.

I found the pillows to be quite uncomfortable. After reading other reviews, it seems some other guests experienced the same issue.

poor pillow quality worn exterior

i found the pillow quality quite poor. they were not supportive. the exterior of the hotel was somewhat worn and could use some updating. our stay did not entirely meet expectations as a result.

the staff was lovely. the location was also quiet, a short walk from town

The underground parking was too small for the number of rooms. It made me stressed every evening. finding a parking spot nearby was also complicated because it is hard to park elsewhere in the city.

Charming Stay in a Convenient Location

historical insights breakfast pancakes

nuno shared great historical insights, i had several interesting conversations with him and he also helped with rental car arrangements, i found this support particularly beneficial. breakfast was a treat with delicious banana pancakes and pastries, the outdoor garden area was really lovely for a peaceful start to the day.

i noticed a lack of sound insulation from the room door, being so close to reception, that caused some disturbance, also, the pillows felt a bit old, i think newer pillows would enhance the comfort.

The room had a few issues. The old TV did not support streaming services. That was quite annoying. I also reported the lack of warm water twice, but they did not fix it before my departure.

friendly staff clean room spacious room

the location is superb. the staff is friendly. the twin room sea view was very clean and spacious.

the hotel entrance gate is not easy to close for a small person.
