Balinese Charm at its Finest

I appreciated the hotel's focus on Balinese culture. The on-site museum offered an very nice art collection, it. Staff were very warm and cute, they provided excellent service. I also liked the traditional Balinese architecture, intricate sculptures and ponds filled with fish.

arma is a true resort and museum combined. the grounds feature a living botanical garden design with lakes and streams. i really enjoyed the excellent breakfast, served in a spacious restaurant with a terrace. the serene pool area provided an eat pray love vibe and was a perfect spot for relaxation (i spent hours there).
the tap of the sink was falling off, a slight inconvenience i noticed.

the resort is about 15 minutes from monkey forest, a direct walk. a 25-minute walk gets you to the centre with many shops. the stroll to both places was enjoyable as many shops line the route.

the staff are attentive and eager to assist with any needs or questions. the hotel provided cultural activities like cooking classes focused on balinese culture. i booked a temple tour and found the experience great.

the hotel included a restaurant, café, and spa for guest convenience. i used the two pools and participated in workshops, such as wood carving. the resort featured a water stream, rice fields, local vegetation, and balinese statues.

the room i had was spacious and very clean. the buffet breakfast offered beautiful garden views from both indoor and outdoor seating. the indoor seating had balinese-style tables requiring shoes to be removed.

musty smellstained upholstery
the room showed signs of age. there was a musty smell present, and i thought the furniture looked quite dated (it gave the room a heavy feel). the bathroom could use some updating. i also noticed some stains on the upholstery, which wasn't very appealing to me, the spa hours didn't work well. i couldn't easily fit a treatment into my schedule without missing out on exploring.
