“I appreciate its beachfront location and the consistently praised food, especially dinner; however, a ground-floor room facing the road seems like a potential drawback. For a brief stay, though, the excellent service and generally comfortable accommodations seem to outweigh that concern.”

non-functional remotebroken ice machine
The television remote did not work. I had to manually change the channels each time I wanted to watch something. Also the ice machine was out of service . This was really inconvenient since I wanted cold drinks but I couldn't get any ice. I had to walk to a nearby store each time I needed ice.

relaxing getaway

quiet roomwhiskey selectiondinner portions
This was my second visit this year. i chose a ground floor room as requested. the room was quiet and comfortable. the conservatory restaurant overlooks the sea. I appreciated views of jura and islay from it. the bar offers a huge selection of whiskeys. i appreciate the dog-friendly atmosphere.
I wish the hotel offered more options for single diners. The dinner portions were quite generous.
