About Antica Dimora

Antica Dimora Firenze is an exclusive boutique Guesthouse in Florence that maintains the original character of Florence combined with modern comforts. It is located near Pandolfini Palace, minutes from Piazza San Marco and the Accademia Gallery. The guesthouse is 1.5 km from Florence Santa Maria Novella and 10 km from Peretola.

Rooms

Rooms are available with double or separate beds and an optional third bed. Rooms are all different from one another and feature decorated ceilings, original wooden beams, pure linen fabrics, and oriental silks with four-poster beds. Bathrooms are oil painted or clad in Carrara marble. Each room has Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, a private bathroom, a TV, a CD player, a radio, heating, air conditioning, an espresso machine, a water kettle with a selection of tea/herbal teas, and a safe. A cradle and ironing facilities are available on request. Deluxe rooms display canopy beds. The Executive double room includes a private terrace.

Style Made in Florence

The wall colors, made from natural pigments, differ in each room. Fabrics are pure linen from a Tuscan 'Tessitoria'. Rooms include oriental silks, canopy beds crafted by Florentine artisans, antique furniture, and ancient tile floors.

Dining

A sweet breakfast including cakes and jams is served daily in the shared lounge, which includes a library corner and film selection. The common room serves tea and cake in the afternoon and vin santo or herbal tea after dinner.

Transportation & Parking

Antica Dimora Firenze is located in a limited traffic zone (ZTL). Guests are entitled to one admission for arrival and one for departure. For navigation, enter 'Via Cavour' as the destination. Coming from Rome, take the FIRENZE SUD motorway and follow directions to Piazza della Libertà, then Via Zara, then Via delle Ruote. The hotel does not have its own parking, but uses nearby garages, such as Michelangelo Garage with Valet Parking. To arrive by train, follow Via Nazionale, Piazza Indipendenza, Via XXVII Aprile, and Via San Gallo.
